two. It is a popular destination with couples for that reason.

of the French attitude to love. For example, the Four Seasons
Hotel George V offers luxury suites designed for romancing your
partner and will book tours and restaurants for couples wanting

air of romance that is very rare and is a favourite resort for
lovers as a result. A couple can eat in the best restaurants,

seems to be worthwhile if you share it with a loved one.

extremely romantic. There are gorgeous old buildings with
breathtaking architecture to feast your eyes on and explore. It
is also a centre for the arts, especially the opera and poetry,
which is enough to ignite anyone's passions. The Vincci Soho
Hotel is just one of the many hotels you can choose from, most
of which actually offer high quality service whilst respecting
your privacy.

Corinthia Marina Hotel in St George's Bay has a view of the sea
and exhibits that beauty perfectly.

is the perfect setting for a romantic weekend for two. It is
labelled the most beautiful region in Ireland because it offers
spectacular natural scenery that should be enjoyed with a loved
one. It is a quaint area, unlike the bustling city of Dublin,
that allows you to focus your attentions on the one you are with
when you visit. A stay at the Victoria House Hotel will you give
you the best of both worlds - nature on one side and the city on
the other.

9. Marseille
- Located in the South of France, Marseille
effectively combines the old with the new generation societies.
There are beaches, tours of the city and excellent little cafes
to sample. The city is a haven for romance because the lifestyle

all. The architecture, art and opera all serve to heighten your

romantic weekend for two!

I can heartily recommend Paris as the perfect destination for a romantic weekend for two, having been there last fall with my partner. We jumped on the Eurostar in the UK and arrived in the centre of Paris two hours later. The weekend had everything - fine cuisine, great museums, peaceful riverside walks and of course the required trip up the Eiffel Tower. If you want a taste of the real Paris try a restaurant called “Chartier” – It’s an old soup Kitchen, and one of the busiest places in town. The waiters run around at warp speed, the food is whisked in and out and the atmosphere is pure Parisian. It’s very inexpensive and a real must for culture vultures. For something a little away from the centre try a visit to Versailles - great architecture, and a taste of how France used to be in the bad old days before the Revolution - it's only a 30 minute trip and well worth it. But make sure you keep a tight hold of your possessions on the Metro - Paris is quite safe, but world renowned for pick pockets.

Not enough couples make time for themselves. It's too easy to get wrapped up in jobs, kids and other commitments that at the end of the day, there's no time left to devote to your partner. I think it's important to MAKE time if you're in a long-term relationship.

A romantic getaway would be a good way to start putting the focus back into the relationship. Exploring the unfamiliar and enjoying each other's company can do so much for a couple.

Nice list of locations there, to suit every mood and pocket. I think the important bit in a romantic getaway is just going somewhere different and taking the time to unwind and enjoy it. You don't have to go far, or stay long, as long as it's just the two of you - no kids, no work, just enjoying time together for a chance.

I think Ireland is somewhere that's often overlooked, and would be well worth it - less busy, less touristy, more relaxing.
