That was a handy tip, and always worth trying out - even if you have a brilliant deal on one part of your trip, it is worth checking if you could save even more by getting a package elsewhere.

It doesn't always work out, but when it does the savings can be incredible.

Plus, sometimes you get other benefits from a package - like better service between connections, or transport to your hotel, etc.
