What You Should Know About Caribbean Weather

The Caribbean is one of the most popular tourist locations for travellers the world over.  There are millions of people visiting the Caribbean each year from the United States alone.  The Caribbean has an allure not just in it's gorgeous beaches and exotic sunsets, but also in its varied culture and traditions.  Once you have tasted the atmosphere of the Caribbean, you will always yearn to return.

Barbados is considered to be one of the paramount tourist spots in the whole world. Being the Caribbean’s most popular and bustling island Barbados is at all times teeming with the tourists round the year. It is said that Barbados’s fascinating exquisiteness and fabulous weather sets the tenor of your mood. For years Barbados’s soothing weather has been attracting tourists round the globe irrespective of the season whether it is summers or winters. Herein one will find sun-bathed seas round the calendar, which characteristically sets the tropical climate. Barbados weather is nearly warm round the year where you find high 20 degree Celsius in February whereas low 30’s in June.

The rainy season in Barbados runs from June to November, but even during those months the rain does not last long – you may encounter short bursts or rain and some overcast days, but most of the time there will be clear skys and pleasantly hot days. Usually Barbados weather is placid and pleasant but the north of the island normally escapes from the tropical heat due to mild altitude changes. Barbados has got high percentage of humidity but it withered away from the cool Caribbean Sea breeze, which is all-pervading to endow with the much required let-up from the sweltering heat.

Even though Barbados is surrounded by seas on all sides, hurricanes tend to miss the island – offering docile seas for you to enjoy.  Instead, the hurricanes usually pass the African coast before coming to the Caribbean from the north around 100 miles from Barbados.  The weather during the daytime is usually reasonably hot, whilst the evenings tend to be cool but comfortable, setting the tone perfectly for idyllic, sensuous nights.  It does rain, but the rain is refreshing and is followed by sun drenched, and often the appearance of a rainbow.  The tropical rains  are spectacular, but the spongy nature of the island means that they quickly drain off into underground lakes.

To conclude, even if the splendor of Barbados does not initially attract you to the island, then its soothing weather will make you fall in love with it – so pack your bags now, and head to Barbados – a beautiful island that will offer you a perfect vacation!
