Times have changed and you have gone from being a mere couch quarterback to holding the reins yourself and planning your own dream vacation. Finding Discounted Airfares to Australia
When you are looking for your discount airfare to Australia, make sure you check as many options as possible before you book, and read the terms and conditions for any flights are are considering. Remember the old adage 'if it looks too good to be true, it probably is'. It is possible that you may find a once in a lifetime deal, but it always pays to be wary. Don't hesitate to pick up the phone and call a company to ask questions before you book. If they are honest, and value your custom, they will be more than happy to take a few moments to clarify things for you. Consider the following when researching a company before you book.
* Do they offer a customer service number in case you have questions? Many will have only an email address, which most likely receives hundred or thousands of hits a week. And depending on how many customer services representative are on staff, it could take minutes, hours, or days to hear back.
* Are any customer testimonials offered? This is not something to solely base your decision on, but it is nice to read what other people had to say about their experience with that company.
*Does the company use well known, reputable airlines? It is better if they use Delta, Continental, Qantas, or some other well known, airline rather than a small, 2 plane outfit. With the bigger airlines you are more likely to receive good service, and less likely to suffer a cancellation or other problems. Plus, if problems do arise, they will be better equipped to deal with it.

One of my good friends just flew out to Australia to spend time with her future in laws and prepare to fly back her fiance to the states. She still takes some classes and is considered a student and got a major discount on her flight to Australia. So if you are a full time student or are just taking a few classes, see if you can get a student discount as well. A lot of places are offering them these days.
