Country Holidays In Italy: Escape The City Noise & Stress
Arranging a Country Holiday in Italy
If you are after a truly relaxing holiday in Italy, then you should avoid the cities – they are great places for sightseeing holidays, but they are very busy, and can be quite crowded. If at all possibly, you should try to find a bed and breakfast or an inn located outside of a city, so that you can spend all of your time enjoying the atmosphere of the countryside.
There are a lot of inns available in the countryside in Italy, so finding one that suits your tastes and your budget should not be too difficult. Places like the Amalfi Coast and Sardinia are your best bets when it comes to finding a relaxing place in Italy. In fact, a lot of people claim that these areas are simply the best when it comes to spending country holidays in Italy. These places do not just have some of the best places to stay during your country holidays in Italy; they also have some of the best restaurants in the country. Good food and a very relaxed atmosphere will surely make your country holidays in Italy very memorable.
Making The Most of the Amalfi Coast and Sardinia
The Amalfi Coast runs for 50Km between Sorrento and Salerno. It is a great stretch of coastline, with some lovely scenery. If you want to explore it, find an inn somewhere along the stretch, and take a walk along the coastline. There are lots of inns that are close to the Amalfi Coast. If you don't know the area well, then look it up online and see if you can find something that appeals to you.
The Amalfi Coast has some great views of the ocean, but if you are after some history instead then you should head to Sardinia, which features some wonderful medieval sections to explore. Sardinia offers a different atmosphere – it is very laid back and has a strong culture which you will no doubt enjoy being a part of.

I visited Italy a couple of years ago - for a stag do. Granted, that was a wierd choice of places, but it was better than the usual kinds of night out, and something I would recommend for others who want to be able to have a laugh and a good time without all the tacky stuff other touristy places have.
The Amalfi coast sounds like a nice place for a romantic break, or a relaxing beach holiday - maybe I'll take my girlfriend there next summer.
