Romantic Getaways in Ohio: Keep The Spark Of Love Alive

Ohio is a great place for a romantic getaway.  There are lots of great romantic getaway places in Ohio, such as Cleveland, and Cincinnati.  The best time to visit Ohio is in the summer, but any time between May and October should offer good weather.

Places To Go And Things To Do In Cleveland

If you are considering a romantic getaway in Ohio, one place you should visit is Cleveland, which has some great sights including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, where you can see some great rock memorabilia, both historical and high tech.  The North Coast Harbor is a wonderful sight too, and the Omnimax Theater is well worth a visit.  If you are looking for a little excitement, then cruising on Lake Erie is a great way to spend an afternoon.

Cedar Point Amusement Park Means Lots Of Fun & Entertainment

If you fancy some fun and entertainment, then a visit to Cedar Point Amusement Park could be right up your street.  After a day at the park you can head to a great romantic restaurant, before retiring to your hotel for some quiet time with your partner.  There are lots of ways to enjoy your romantic Ohio getaway, so whatever your tastes you should find something that both you and your partner will enjoy.

You may also want to consider visiting Cincinnati for a romantic getaway Ohio. With attractions such as riverboat excursions out on Ohio River to entice you and your partner, romance would have a much better chance of blossoming. Even Bicentennial Commons Park is worth a shout, especially if you want a nice romantic walk, and if an excellent view of the city will awaken your romantic instincts, then check out Carew Tower from where you will get to see the city as well as its river from high above the ground.

Romance In Ohio For Art Lovers

If your preference as a couple leans towards art, then Dayton Ohio is a good place to visit.  The excellent Dayton Art Institute features works of art from both American and European artists.  After a day exploring the exhibitions, you could visit the L'Auberge Restaurant for a superb romantic dinner.

The German Village and Brewery District in Columbus, Ohio is another great option for your romantic getaway in Ohio.  Or you could head a little to the southeast and spend some time with your parter in a cabin in Hocking Hills, which is known as the 'Hot Tub Capital of the Midwest'.  A visit to the Hocking Valley Scenic Railways is a must, and you and your partner will love the views as you take a trip through the scenic hills of South Eastern Ohio.
